Seduction, mystery and danger sum up all that is Film Noir.
Originating in the 1940’s this dark genre has inspired a new body of work by artist, Ingrid Boot.
Almost every Noir film is about the girl and the obsessed men that will do anything to get her.

This beautiful and deadly femme fatale alongside stunning historical Auckland locations has brought Film Noir to life in Ingrid’s paintings.

Film Noir - Solo show  is showcased at Bread & Butter Gallery from the 17th Feb through to 3rd March 2018.

Bread & Butter Gallery opens at 10am in the Upstairs  Exhibiting  showrooms located at 26 Albert Street, Whitianga.
